At the age of 19 She released her debut single Here. It was an instant hit with both critics as well as the fans were awed by the song. In the Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked it at 19. Even Rolling Stone called the single one of its Best Songs in 2015. This same year, she released Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful is one of five songs she wrote that made it to the Billboard charts. The song was particularly memorable because it was based on an interview with Rap-Up many listeners shared their experiences through self-doubt and discovering how to accept herself. Cara's music is known to contain messages of love, self-love and mental health. Her music is a reflection of her own struggles with insomnia and mental health. According to Reuters interview, she has said that her album was half turbulent but half perfected. Her growth was aided by therapy and encourages other people to seek help if necessary. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on the 11th of July 1996. Her first guitar was purchased from her parents at the time she was 10, which ignited the passion for music. In the year 2003, she turned 13 she started singing her favorite tracks via YouTube. It was an excellent method to demonstrate to the world that she possessed both the talent and the courage. One of the songs Sweater Weather was able to get noticed by a record label named EP Entertainment which allowed her to compose and record songs.
